Siliguri, 20th June: A burglary occurred at Kali temple in the Kalamjote area of Kawakhali. The matter came to light on Monday morning after devotees came to the temple to offer prayers. Reportedly, lights inside the temple were broken and the donation box was missing.
On receiving the news, Medical Out Post police reached the spot and inspected the premises. Locals alleged that a theft took place in the temple earlier as well. They urged to install CCTV to avoid such cases in the future. Police are investigating the whole matter
