Siliguri, 08th March: On the occasion of International Women’s Day, a discussion meeting on Women’s Safety was organized on behalf of the Women’s Welfare Organization of NF Railway Employees Union. The programme was inaugurated by paying homage to late musicians Lata Mangeshkar and Sandhya Mukherjee in the meeting room of the NJP Employees Union.
Abira Poddar, secretary of the organization, said that apart from felicitating all renowned women, there was a discussion on how women can defend themselves.
