Siliguri, 06th December: A man has been accused of allegedly harassing and abusing a worker of a delivery company in Siliguri.
It has been learned that Biswajit Barman, an employee of an online delivery company, arrived at an apartment in Donbosco More under Bhaktinagar police station today to receive the parcel the customer was returning.
Biswajit Barman alleged that initially, there was a dispute over returning the goods. Following which, he was beaten and harassed by the said customer. He also alleged that one of his parcels was torn in the course. After the incident, Biswajit Barman informed his company about the whole matter.
Barman then lodged a written complaint against the person at Bhaktinagar police station. The police have launched investigations based on the allegations.
Meanwhile, attempts were made to contact the accused customer over the phone but no response was received on his behalf.
