Rajganj, 07th December: The death anniversary of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) worker Ulen Roy was observed in Rajganj’s Mantadari. The occasion witnessed the presence of Jalpaiguri District BJP President Bapi Goswami, BJP District Secretary Shyam Prasad, District President of BJP Yuva Morcha Palen Ghosh, and other BJP leaders.
Reportedly, during the program, BJP District President Bapi Goswami stated that the Uttar Kanya Abhiyan was called for on 7th December 2020 against several anti-people policies of the state government. He added that during the campaign, BJP activist Ulen Roy was killed in police firing. On this day, the late activist of the party was paid tribute by the BJP.
