Rajganj, 16th March: The police launched a search operation at the Teesta Canal, today morning and recovered the dead body Dilip Debnath from the Teesta Canal.
Dilip Debnath, a resident of Sahudangi Nawapara in Rajganj, went missing since March 10. The family members had searched for Debnath but he was nowhere to be found. However, Debnath’s clothes were found, last Saturday, across the Teesta Canal near his house. The deceased’s family members lodged a missing report at the Ambari Police outpost. Based on the complaint, the police and a team of divers commenced a search operation at the Teesta Canal, today and recovered the body.
The police have launched an investigation into the incident.
