Siliguri, 07th June: The Detective Department (DD) and Special Operations Group (SOG), based on a tip-off, launched joint operations and arrested three people with brown sugar.
The arrested accused have been identified as Alam Gir Sheikh, Mohammad Ansar Sheikh, and Rezabul Haque. The three are residents of the Lalgola police station area of Murshidabad district.
A team of DD and SOG detained a freight pickup van at Shahidnagar More. 380 grams of brown sugar was recovered after searching the van. The arrested individuals were handed over to the Bhaktinagar police and were produced at the Jalpaiguri court today.
