Siliguri, 24th July: Night curfew has been imposed across the state from 9 pm to 5 am amid the pandemic. DCP East Joy Tudu of Siliguri Metropolitan Police inspected different areas of the city last night.
He inspected the areas under Siliguri police station, Panitanki outpost, Bhaktinagar police station, and Pradhan Nagar police station. Besides, the DCP also looked into how the police officials were monitoring the city at night.
The DCP has directed to take strict legal action against anyone who is spotted on the streets after 9 pm. Meanwhile, more than 30 people have been arrested under the Disaster Management Act for violating government protocols.
