Siliguri, 22nd August: After coming to power for the third consecutive time, the Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee had announced to celebrate August 16 as ‘Khela Diwas’ in the state. Likewise, today under the initiative of Trinamool Yuva Congress No. 01 Town Committee in collaboration with Mukti Manch Kings Club, ‘Day-Night Football Tournament’ was organized in Ward No. 02.
The tournament was inaugurated by Goutam Deb, Administrator of Siliguri Municipal Corporation. A total of 16 teams are participating in this tournament. A cash reward of Rs 50,000 will be given to the winning team of the tournament, while Rs 30,000 will be given to the runner up team.
