Darjeeling MP Raju Bista accuses State government of failing to deal with pandemic

Siliguri, 28th May: Darjeeling MP Raju Bista, after reaching Bagdogra Airport on Thursday, accused the State government of failing to deal with the pandemic so far.


Addressing the media, Bista stated that the state government has failed miserably to deal with the pandemic due to which the death rate in the state is on a rise. He further stated that the lockdown restrictions have been ignored in the state ever since it was imposed.

Apart from this, he also accused the Trinamool Congress of carrying out needless politics in such a crisis and expressed outrage over the fact that BJP MPs, in different parts of North Bengal, are not being allowed to leave their homes.


He further added that as he returned from a different state today, he will follow all the government guidelines properly and will quarantine himself at his home in Darjeeling.
