Siliguri, 05th July: Various political parties and organizations have taken to the streets to protest against the increase in petrol and diesel prices.
On Monday, the Darjeeling District Yuva Congress staged a protest with placards in Hashmi Chowk demanding an increase in prices of petrol, diesel, cooking gas, and other daily necessities.
Rohit Tiwari, president of the Darjeeling District Yuva Congress, warned of staging larger demonstrations in Delhi if their demands are not met soon.
