Siliguri, 09th September: The state government is on the path of privatizing NBSTC. Also, allegations against the central government of planning to privatize government properties have surfaced. Condemning this, The Darjeeling district SUCI staged a protest near Mahatma Gandhi’s statue in front of Siliguri Head Post Office against the privatization of trains and buses, on Thursday.
The protesters said that government property cannot be privatized in any way. If any such steps are taken by the central and state government, they will launch a larger movement.
