Darjeeling District Police hold awareness rally to make Panitanki a drug-free town

Naxalbari, 24th February: Darjeeling District Police held an awareness rally in Panitanki to build a drug-free Panitanki and Darjeeling. Today at the Panitanki police outpost, various voluntary organizations, locals, political figures, and school students took the oath against drugs use. The district police instructed that if drugs are sold somewhere or if someone is found intoxicated, the general public can complain by calling or texting in the number 7811868911.


A rally was held in the Panitanki today in the presence of District Superintendent of Police Dr. Santosh Nimbalkar, District Magistrate S Ponnambalam, Additional Superintendent of Police, Rural DSP, Naxalbari CI, Naxalbari and Kharibari BDO, Block Health Officer, and others. The DM said that drug-free Panitanki and drug-free Darjeeling will be built with the cooperation of all.
