Kalchini, 31st January: Prabhat Mukhopadhyay, Vice-President of the Kalchini Panchayat Samiti, laid the foundation stone for the construction of a culvert at the Bharnobari tea garden in Kalchini block under the initiative of the Alipurduar District Council.
Chairman of the Latibari Rural Hospital Rogi Kalyan Samiti Asim Majumdar and many other dignitaries were present on the inaugural event.
It has been told that the culvert will be constructed at a cost of around Rs 26 lakh 78 thousand rupees and the construction work will commence from tomorrow.
