Rajganj, 11th August: On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, Culture Day was celebrated in Rajganj. According to the information, this day is being celebrated across the state on the initiative of the Department of Youth Services and Sports of the West Bengal government. During the celebration, rakhis were tied on the wrists of the passers-by and were given sweets.
Jalpaiguri DPSC Chairman Lax Mohan Roy, Rajganj Panchayat Samiti’s Sabhadhipati Purnima Roy, Rajganj BDO Pankaj Konar, Sukhani Circle Pradhan Shampa Dutta and others were present in the program.
