Siliguri, 20th January: A cricket tournament was organized at Kanchenjunga Stadium in Siliguri without spectators following the Covid safety measures.
The First Division League Cum Knockout Twenty Cricket Tournament was organized on behalf of the Siliguri Subdivision Sports Council. The tournament will last for 65 days. A total of 31 teams will participate in the 20-over match.
The tournament was held today between the YMA Club of Siliguri and Attharakhai Sarojini Sangha, where the former won.
On behalf of the Subdivision Sports Council, Manoj Verma said that Kanchenjunga Stadium has been sanitized and everyone was wearing masks.
