CPIM takes out “Dhikkar Rally” in Siliguri demanding removal of TMC govt and CM’s resignation

Siliguri, 23rd July: Today, the CPIM of Darjeeling district conducted a Dhikkar rally in Siliguri demanding the removal of the Trinamool government and the resignation of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. During the rally, former mayor of Siliguri Municipal Corporation Ashok Bhattacharya, Jeevesh Sarkar and other party leaders were present.

It is to be noted that ED has arrested former education minister and an active member of TMC, Partha Chatterjee in SSC corruption case. Hence the said rally was upheld. Ashok Bhattacharya alleged that both BJP and Trinamool government are looting the common people. He said that this time, if a new cabinet is formed, it would be appropriate to form the body without the inclusion of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. He claimed that if the CM is included, corruption will prevail once again.
