Jalpaiguri, 29th April: The incident of missing body from Jalpaiguri Biswa Bangla Covid Hospital has come to light. The deceased has been identified as Sumitra Das (78), a resident of South Colony Malbazar.
The family members of the deceased further alleged that an amount of Rs 26,500 was taken from them in the name of providing proper medical service to the patient. The agitated family members then approached the administration for justice.
In this regard, Jalpaiguri District CMOH Ramendranath Pramanik said that if any such complaint is received, the matter will be investigated.
