Siliguri, 13th November: The COVID care network and Siliguri Fight Corona recently urged all to refrain from bursting firecrackers, this Diwali.
Once again today, the organization members held a press conference at the Siliguri Journalists Club and asked all to spread awareness in this regard.
The press conference was attended by Dr Sandeep Sengupta, Dr Kalyan Kha, Legal Aid Forum President Amit Sarkar, and other renowned people. They asked the general public to approach the police if they find anyone violating the High court’s ban on fireworks.
The Legal Aid Forum has also appealed to the police administration to carry out drone surveillance across the city.
