Cooch Behar, 30th December: On Thursday, the Cooch Behar district administration campaigned at several hotels, grocery shops and spice shops in the Bhawaniganj market.
Cooch Behar Sub-Divisional Officer Rakibur Rahaman raided many hotels, checked their documents and also whether they were maintaining cleanliness. Furthermore, the SDO also closely investigated if the hoteliers were serving adulterated food to their customers.
Addressing the media, SDO Rakibur Rahaman said that such a campaign will be carried out in the coming days as well. Meanwhile, traders caught defying the protocols were released after a stern warning today.
