Congress’ Bharat Jodo Yatra will enter North Bengal on 18th Jan: Rajya Sabha MP Pradeep Bhattacharya

Siliguri, 18th December: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is on Bharat Jodo Yatra in the country and the said yatra is all ready to set foot in North Bengal on 18th January whereas, on 21st, the said yatra will enter Bidhannagar under Darjeeling district. The yatra will run in Darjeeling under the name of Sagar Se Pahar Tak which means from sea to mountains.


 

Congress Rajya Sabha MP Pradeep Bhattacharya informed about the Bharat Jodo Yatra today in a meeting at Circuit House. He said that the Darjeeling District Congress will commence the yatra from sea to the hills in Bidhan Nagar for Bharat Jodo Yatra and will reach Phansidewa on 21st January and on 22nd the said yatra will leave Bagdogra and reach Siliguri. There will be an inclusion on the 23rd at Dagapur Maidan in Siliguri.


 

 

On the other hand, Congress workers from Alipurduar, Coochbehar, and Jalpaiguri will join the march from Siliguri to Rongtong. From Rongtong, the said yatra will head to the residence of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. From there, the Hill Congress leadership will take the yatra forward and reach the meeting place at the Kurseong bus stand. There the journey will conclude after a closing speech.
