Islampur, 29th June: Various branches of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPIM), including Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) and Students’ Federation of India (SFI) Mahila Samiti, lodged a complaint at the Islampur Police Station against Debanjan Deb, the prime accused in the fake vaccine scam.
They also staged a protest in front of the Islampur police station and demanded proper investigation into the matter and punishment of the culprits.
Sukriti Ghosh, district secretary of the All India Mahila Samiti, said that memorandums will be issued and complaints will be lodged at all police stations within the state.
