Kharibari, 01st February: A coal-laden truck lost control and overturned on the Asian Highway-02 near Panitanki Simultala area. The truck driver narrowly survived the crash.
Speaking on the incident, the truck driver Tilak Ram said that he was heading towards Bihar after loading coal from Assam. At around 4:30 pm, the truck suddenly lost control near Simultala area and overturned.
Tilak Ram suffered a head injury in the incident, narrowly escaping death. On the other hand, upon receiving the information of the incident, the police reached the spot and took the injured driver to the hospital. An investigation has been initiated into the whole incident.
