Chital deer released again in the Buxa Tiger Reserve of Alipurduar

Alipurduar, 03rd March: The forest department released about 90 spotted (chital) deer in the Buxa Tiger Reserve in Alipurduar to ensure the tigers’ prey base in the forest.


Reportedly, the forest workers and veterinarians of the Buxa Forest Reserve were present in the location when the chital deers were released on Saturday night. As per the forest department authorities, the deer were brought from the Ramnabagan Wildlife Sanctuary of the Bardhaman district.
