Siliguri, 27th February: Nanhi Pari Foundation is a Girl Child Right Organization which works for Education, Health & Nutrition for Girl Child. The 8th camp of the ‘Nanhi Pari’ Project was organized today at the Siliguri Sadar Hospital. Such an initiative has been taken for all the newborn baby girls in the hospital.
Last July, the project was launched by the Lions Club of Siliguri District 322F. Since then, the camp is held at the Siliguri Sadar Hospital on the 27th of every month. A childcare kit is handed over to the mothers which consist of daily-use products for the child. During today’s camp, more than 40 kits were handed over to the mothers.
Lions Club of Siliguri President Jayanta Saha said that the ‘Nanhi Pari’ project had won the “Best Stall” title in the Annual Convention of the Lions Club of District 322F. Also, the said project will set up a stall at the Biswa Bangla Convention, Kolkata in April 2020.
