Siliguri, 24th January: Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is likely to arrive on a North Bengal visit in Siliguri on January 29. The CM is expected to land on the helipad in Fulbari and subsequently address a meeting at the Videocon ground.
Earlier on Wednesday, Jalpaiguri District Magistrate, Siliguri Police Commissioner C. Sudhakar, and other higher officials of the administration took stock of the area. However, no officials released any statement regarding the visit.
Reportedly, the District Magistrate, Police Commissioner, and other senior police officers inspected the area to check the necessary security arrangements ahead of the visit.
