Kharibari, 31st August: Several people are struggling to get the COVID vaccines even after waiting in long queues. A similar scenario was spotted at Bazarojote Health Center of Raniganj Panishali Gram Panchayat in Kharibari block on Tuesday.
The locals alleged that several people are flocking to the centre every day, leading to chaos. Furthermore, no action is being taken by the administration. In this situation, the general public is questioning the role of the health department and administration.
Santosh Singh, a resident of Siliguri, said that he fears the overcrowding might eventually lead to the transmission of the COVID-19 virus. He also expressed disappointment towards the role of the administration and health department.
