Cattle rescued before smuggling in Indo-Nepal border

Naxalbari, 26th December: Smuggling of cattle continues on the Indo-Nepal border. Even today, cattle were rescued before being smuggled from Nepal to India. However, the two smugglers fled away after seeing the SSB jawans. The said incident surfaced from the Bado Maniram Jote of Naxalbari.


Reportedly, the soldiers of the 8th battalion of SSB were patrolling the border. Then two smugglers tried to smuggle the cattle from Nepal to India. However, upon seeing the SSB jawans, they left the cattle and fled to Nepal. After this, SSB jawans recovered six cattle and handed them over to the Naxalbari police. The Naxalbari police are probing the entire incident.
