Naxalbari, 27th December: An incident of theft in the women’s ward of Naxalbari Rural Hospital created a stir.
It has been learned that four mobile phones and cash were stolen from the bags of four patients, on Monday morning. After the incident, a verbal complaint was lodged at the Naxalbari police station.
The patients alleged that there were no guards in the hospital at night. Although there is a CCTV camera, no action has been taken so far.
Meanwhile, the hospital authorities said that appropriate action will be taken after monitoring the CCTV footage of the incident.
