Burglary reported at three houses in Bagdogra, investigation underway

Siliguri, 15th July: Three burglaries were reported at broad daylight in three areas under Bagdogra police station,on Thursday afternoon. The incident created a stir in the entire area.


According to the information received, while the first two burglaries occurred in two houses in the Bhujia Pani area of ​​Bagdogra, the third incident of theft took place in Vivekananda Palli of Bagdogra.


Arsida Khatoon, the owner of the house in the Bhujia Pani area, said that she along with her little son had gone to Bagdogra for shopping. After returning home, she found that all the belongings of their house were scattered. Gold and silver jewelry as well as cash were missing. A similar case happened in the second house.

It has been learned that in the third house, the thieves have committed the crime by tying a member of the house. House owner Jayanta De alias Tarak said that gold-silver jewelry and some cash are missing from the house. Many officials of the Detective Department reached the spot and started an investigation.
