Jalpaiguri, 21st March: Burglary at Anandamayee Kali Mandir in Newtown para of Jalpaiguri created a stir in the entire area. The matter came to light on Monday morning.
The locals stated that a few miscreants broke the lock of the temple’s gate on Sunday night and stole gold ornaments including puja utensils.
Jalpaiguri Kotwali police reached the spot after receiving the news of the incident. Police have started an investigation into the incident.
