Cooch Behar, 10th February: Sensation prevailed after a burglary took place at four shops in the Mina Kumari Chowpathi area of Bhawaniganj Market of Cooch Behar on Thursday night. On the other hand, the Cooch Behar Kotwali Police immediately reached the spot after receiving the news.
According to the information, the burglary took place by cutting the tin sheets of the shop. Local businessmen stated that they left for their homes after closing the shop as usual but after they returned this morning, they noticed the tin of the shop was cut and the goods inside were missing.
Later, it was noticed that similar incident took place at three more shops. The local businessmen expressed their anguish about the security arrangement as such an incident took place in the main market of the city. Police have started the further investigation of the entire incident.
