Siliguri, 23rd September: The contractual workers of BSNL protested in front of the office in Siliguri demanding pending salary, on Thursday.
It has been learned that the workers protested by closing the office gate since this morning.
A worker named Rajiv Mandal said that their salaries are pending for the last 13 months. The BSNL authorities have not paid the arrears yet. Hence they protested demanding salary and bonuses. If no solution is provided in the coming days, they warned to protest in front of the BSNL offices in all the states.
