Cooch Behar, 20th October: On the occasion of Maha Sashti, Boro Devi Puja commenced in Cooch Behar following the royal traditions.
On Friday morning, a special Sashti Puja was organized at Devi Bari in Cooch Behar. During this, a large number of devotees gather to witness the puja.
On this day, Rajpurohit, Hirendranath Bhattacharya stated that Sashti puja is being organized. He added that, after the Puja, offerings will be made to the Devi.
