Naxalbari, 10th June: Sensation prevailed after the body of a youth with his hands and feet tied was recovered in Chamaru Jote of Naxalbari. The deceased has been identified as 20-year-old Pradeep Singh.
Reportedly, Pradeep worked in the garage located in Panitanki. He left for work this morning but returned home in a while. Later, his grandmother found his dead body hanging inside the house. After being notified of the incident, Naxalbari police reached the spot and recovered the body, and sent it to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital for post-mortem.
As Pradeep’s hands and feet were tied with ropes, the family has alleged the matter to be a murder case rather than a suicide. Police are probing the whole matter.
