Islampur, 23rd July: Sensation prevailed after the body of a child was found in a wooden box on Thursday morning. The incident surfaced from the Malkunda area of Goalpokhar police station in North Dinajpur district.
According to sources, the locals sighted a wooden box lying on the state highway in the aforementioned area. Upon curiosity, the locals opened the box. But what was inside it shook them to the core.
Upon receiving the news, the police reached the spot, recovered the body and sent it for post-mortem. An investigation has been launched into the incident.
