Siliguri, 09th September: On the 87th Tirodhan Diwas of Thakur Panchanan Barma, a voluntary blood donation camp was organized on behalf of the Thakur Panchanan Social Welfare Society.
It has been learned that the blood donation camp was organized at Champasari Baneshwari Bhawan in Ward No. 46 under Siliguri Municipal Corporation. The members of the association hoisted the national flag and paid homage to the portrait of Thakur Panchanan Barma.
Renowned social activist, as well as doctor Prayat Agarwal, was present as the chief guest at the programme.
In this regard, Thakur Panchanan Social Welfare Association Secretary Tapas Roy said, “Every year a blood donation camp is organized on the Tirodhan Diwas of Thakur Panchanan Burma. Such initiatives will be taken in the coming days as well.”
