Blood donation camp organized by Rathkhola Nabin Sangha Club

Siliguri, 25th July: On the occasion of the 67th anniversary of Rathkhola Nabin Sangha Club, a blood donation camp was organized today in the memory of the departed members of the club. The said blood donation camp was organized under the joint aegis of a private bank and West Bengal Voluntary Blood Donors’ Forum and the blood collected in the camp will be sent to the blood bank of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital. 


Utpal Poddar, general secretary of Rathkhola Nabin Sangha Club, said that both government and private hospitals are facing a severe shortage of blood. Due to this, patients especially the ones battling with Thalassemia are facing numerous difficulties. Hence the blood donation camp was organized on behalf of the club. He added that such blood donation camps will be organized in the coming days also.


Rathkhola Nabin Sangha Club President Sukumar Sarkar, General Secretary Utpal Poddar, Tarak Sarkar and other members of the club were present during the camp.
