Siliguri, 19th November: To overcome the shortage of blood in the city, blood donation camps are being organized every Saturday in various police stations of Siliguri Metropolitan Police under Utsarga project. Keeping this in view, a blood donation camp was organized today under the aegis of Jalpai More Traffic Guard.
Police Commissioner Akhilesh Chaturvedi was present as the chief guest in the said blood donation camp. He said that the blood donation camp is being organized by the police to tackle the crisis of blood in the hospitals. Police personnel donated blood in the camp.
