Siliguri, 11th December: Under the Utsarga Project, a blood donation camp was organized under the aegis of Siliguri Metropolitan Police in collaboration with North Bengal Medical College and Hospital today.
During this, Siliguri Police Commissioner Gaurav Sharma, Matigara police station IC Anirban Bhattacharya, NBMCH Superintendent Sanjay Kumar Mallick, NBMCH Dean Sandip Sengupta and others were present.
Apart from police personnel, local people also donated blood in this camp. Commissioner Gaurav Sharma stated that he is hopeful that this initiative will encourage everyone to donate blood in the coming days.
