BJP will leave no stone unturned to ensure that we develop Siliguri: Raju Bista

Darjeeling, 25th January: Darjeeling MP Raju Bista, in a press release, stated that Siliguri with proper vision and planning carries the potential to power the entire North Bengal region.

He asserted that the party's vision is to provide clean, honest, transparent, and corruption-free governance, promote better law and order system – people-friendly policing, and zero tolerance towards criminal activities, promote Solid Waste Management, better drainage and sewerage infrastructure, develop a ring road around Siliguri city, and pedestrian, cyclist and traffic friendly wide road infrastructure inside the city, along with multilevel parking, public toilets and drinking water facilities and strengthen youth and sports facilities, including the construction of new stadiums and sporting centers, and by improving basic health infrastructure.

Bista also focussed on developing Siliguri as an IT Hub by attracting investments, providing higher living standards and better quality of life for our citizens, and providing opportunities for our youths. He stated that for developing Siliguri as a Smart Green City, investments of over Rs 10000 crores are required.

"JP will leave no stone unturned to ensure that we develop Siliguri so that youths from our region won’t have to go to distant cities to seek their livelihood anymore. I request people to give BJP an opportunity to realise our collective vision for a better and brighter future for Siliguri and our coming generations.", he added.
