Bagdogra, 17th November: BJP protested near a petrol pump in Bagdogra Bihar More, on Wednesday, demanding the reduction of petrol and diesel prices. Leaders and activists of BJP’s Hatighisa Upper Bagdogra and Lower Bagdogra constituencies joined the protest.
In this regard, party leader Sajalkanti Sarkar said that although the state government has recently reduced the price of liquor, the prices of petroleum products are not yet reduced.
Furthermore, BJP leader Lakshmi Sharma warned of staging demonstrations in the coming days as well if their demands are not met.
