Kharibari, 23rd May: BJP leaders and workers protested today in front of Kharibari Hospital in support of the five-point demands, which included proper health service in Kharibari Hospital, providing pure drinking water to patients, and normalizing the ambulance service.
MLA Durga Murmu joined the protest and a memorandum was submitted to the Block Health Officer of the hospital. In this regard, the MLA stated that the patients are not receiving proper health service in the hospital, Swasthya Sathi service is not available, also numerous issues of water problems were also raised by the people. The MLA warned of staging an agitation if the stated problems are not resolved soon.
Meanwhile, the Block Health Officer of the hospital, Dr. Safiul Alam Malik stated that Swasthya Sathi service started today and added that there were some problems in the hospital but drinking water was never an issue.
