Siliguri, 02nd September: BJP No. 03 Mandal Committee issued a memorandum to the Borough officer in support of various demands. They warned of staging larger demonstrations if their demands are not met soon.
Raju Saha, general secretary of the BJP Siliguri organizational district committee, said that various areas of Siliguri get inundated even with light rains during the monsoons. Garbage is also piled up in Ward No. 10, 11, 12, 13 under Borough II. The area in front of the stadium has been turned into a small dumping ground. He further said that the committee will stage larger demonstrations if their demands are not met soon.
