BJP launches “Aar Nai Anyay” campaign to counter TMC’s “Didi Ke Bolo”

Siliguri, 03 March: Trinamool Congress had launched a “Didi Ke Bolo” campaign to reach out to the general public. Under the campaign, the Trinamool activists conduct a door-to-door campaign to meet the common people and listen to their problems. The people can also contact the State Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, directly, through a number provided in a card, which is distributed among them during the campaign.


As a counter-attack, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has also started an “Aar Nai Anyay” campaign along with a Public Relations campaign to reach out to the general public. The campaign was inaugurated by the Minister of Home Affairs, Amit Shah, during a public meeting of the Shaheed Minar, Kolkata, on March 1. As part of the “Aar Nai Anyay” campaign, the BJP activists will also conduct a door-to-door campaign to meet the common people and listen to their problems. The people will also be able to contact the higher-level leaders of BJP, directly, through a number provided in a card, which will be distributed among them during the campaign.

BJP has formed a new committee to monitor the campaign. The campaign will commence in Siliguri, from Wednesday onwards. The Siliguri Organizational BJP President Pravin Agarwal stated that the common people are disturbed due to the injustice by the ruling party in Bengal. Hence, the Minister of Home Affairs, Amit Shah, inaugurated the campaign, on March 1. He stated that the “Aar Nai Anyay” campaign is completely different from the “Didi Ke Bolo” campaign. On the other hand, the Darjeeling District Trinamool Congress President Ranjan Sarkar took a dig at BJP’s new campaign and stated that BJP has started the new campaign to include people in its party.
