BJP does not want the partition of Bengal: Rathindra Bose

Siliguri, 24th June: The ruling TMC party staged protests across the state after Alipurduar BJP MP John Barla recently demanded a separate state for North Bengal. Addressing the issue during a press conference, BJP’s state general secretary Rathindra Bose clarified the party’s stand regarding the MP’s statement.

Rathindra Bose held a press conference on Thursday at the BJP’s Siliguri organizational district office. He said that the party does not want the partition of Bengal. But instead, the BJP MLAs and MPs are putting forward the demands of the general public. However, there has been no discussion on the issue on behalf of the party.
