Islampur, 08th January: Bharatiya Janata Party’s Uttar Dinajpur OBC Morcha, on Friday, held a bike rally in Islampur with the slogan ‘Aar Noy Anyay’ (No more injustice)’.
BJP Uttar Dinajpur district president Biswajit Lahiri, BJP OBC Morcha president Bapi Pal, traders cell co-convenor Sumon Chowdhury, OBC Morcha Uttar Dinajpur District President Ajit Kar Pal, and other leaders were present at the rally.
Biswajit Lahiri said that the number of people belonging to the OBC community in the whole country is 47 percent. OBCs have been given 27 percent reservation from the center while that reservation is only 7 percent in the state. This huge bike rally has been organized to protest against this injustice.
