Siliguri, 25th November: Today marks the 12th death anniversary of Bikash Ghosh, the founder of Siliguri Football Academy and the first mayor of Siliguri Municipal Corporation. A memorial service was organized at Kanchenjunga Stadium today on behalf of Siliguri Football Academy.
Left leader Ashok Bhattacharya and renowned personalities from the sports field were present at the programme. Bhattacharya said,“Ghosh had a dream to bring up the emerging athletes of Siliguri. Everyone must unite to make his dream come true.”
