Alipurduar, 23rd February: The Biennial District Conference of the Alipurduar Pensioners’ Welfare Association was organized today at the Cloud Line Bhawan near the Parade Grounds in Alipurduar.
Around 200 pension holders from different departments of the Alipurduar district were present during the conference. All the pension holders raised their voices supporting a 10-point demand.
During the conference, a new Alipurduar Pensioners’ Welfare Association committee was formed comprising 20 members.
