Siliguri, 25th August: Bhaktinagar police arrested three individuals for charging money in the name of government scheme. The arrested accused have been identified as Biplab Pal (28) and Maheshwar Barman (43) of Haiderpara and Mintu Kumar Sinha (39) of Cooch Behar.
On Tuesday, the three allegedly accepted money to fill up forms for various government schemes at the Duare Sarkar camp in Shivmangal Memorial High School under Borough-V. Upon being notified, the Bhaktinagar police arrested the trio. They were sent to Jalpaiguri court today.
