Siliguri, 18th October: Bhaktinagar police arrested a man with 5 kg 600 grams of cannabis.
It has been learned that the Bhaktinagar police received a tip-off that Mahadev Das was selling cannabis in his shop in the Chota Fapri area. Following which, operations were launched and 5 kg 600 grams of cannabis was recovered. Das was arrested in the incident.
A case has been filed against him under the NDPS Act and was produced in Jalpaiguri court today.
